You go above and beyond to really get to know the student and their story. To you, our work together isn’t just about an application, but it was also about helping the student come to a comfortable place to allow him/herself realize who they are and their part in the larger picture, the world, and allowing them to present their best selves and their story. When the time has come where all the hard work has come to an end, the student is okay with whatever result comes because that work allowed the student to grow and be comfortable with who they are as a whole person.
